Can you deduct interest paid on an car loan from your taxes?

My brother is able to deduct the interest he pays on his farm equipment, and I’m able to deduct the interest I pay on a student loan… so I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible (or legal) to deduct the interest paid on an car loan come tax time?

Should you tip mobile automotive glass repair service?

While I’m sure travel expenses are factored into labor / other costs in the final bill, would it be necessary to tip an automotive glass repair service that comes to the house?

Places I tip for sure include haircut, restaurant/bar service, valet service and I’ve even tipped a tow truck driver for that extra insurance that my car is taken care of behind the scenes. This is a serivce I’m not entirely sure of how appropriate a tip, (if any) might be.

auto loan with bad credit?

i found the mustang of my dreams its only 15000 dollars but my parents cant get a loan because they have bad credit this is because they own a business and my dad made alot of bad decisions with his credit card. my dad is currently paying for my truck which was 13000 and he got that loan approved and hes been making payments on time since we bought the truck. i was wondering if anyone knows any loaners or banks that understand this unique situation and would be willing to give my parents a loan. i know there are companys that give u loans if u have bad credit but they choose your dealer for you and i found this mustang at a dealership that doesnt provide financing.

Which would be better to do: Finance a car w/the dealership or get an auto loan from a bank?

I live in Texas, and have fair credit. How much do you think my interest rate would be?

Where can I find affordable car insurance for a kit car?

I recently purchased a car that was given a kit car title instead of a rebuilt title and now I have no clue who will insure it! I live in Florida and the cars title lists it as a 2006 Neon. Geico won’t do it.. they are who I have now..

Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

Where can I get a car loan in Michigan/Ohio with bad credit?

I am told that there are some car lots who will allow you to re-establish credit with a car loan–even if the interest rate is higher. I need another vehicle ASAP!

What is the average interest auto loan rate these days?

What is a good or average interest rate on an auto loan?
For a brand new car that is. I know it depends on your credit, so please don’t give me that answer. Still, even with good credit or average credit, how do I know the average interest rate for auto loan unless someone tells me please.

How long can a deceased person be held responsible to pay a bill?

My father is deceased and had a loan on an automobile. We returned the automobile to chase along with a death certificate. They continue mindlessly billing my father despite me contacting them with my name. How long is a deceased person responsible to pay for a bill in New York state? And how come they aren’t addressing me? Why should I open mail addressed to a dead person?
to further clarify, he had no ‘estate’. i was joint on his bank account so all his money became mine also before he even died. he had no posessions of worth either, did not own a home etc. so all his money is now in my posession. there is not even an executor of estate.
We were also told by Chase that if we voluntarily surrendered the vehicle (which we did) that chase ‘usually’ does not ask the estate to pay any difference after they sell the car.
He has also been dead for nearly five months. Hence my frustration. I go out of my way to provide my name and a death certificate, and they don’t even mail me with a single word! They don’t even say "thanks for contacting us, here is your responsibility" just continued monthly bills to my Dad.
