I just recently switched to progressive. My premium before was $217.60 a month for my Convertible mustang. The exact same coverage trough progressive was a mere $92.09 a month…a massive savings. Give em a whirl!

P.S. I have a flawless driving record.

It’s not based on how much you can afford, it’s based on how high the risk is.

If your car is paid for, I’d strongly suggest just getting a bus pass for a few months so you can catch up. If it’s NOT paid for, sell the car, and buy one that’s paid for, so you can carry less (affordable) insurance on it.
