Okay so every time i go on price comparison sites etc, my quote will not go below £2300!
no matter what car i put in with a small engine, nothing chages
what else can i do? i must be going wrong somewhere because lots of people get insurance below £2000!
i cannt add any additional drivers because noone in my family drives

You problem is that you are using "E" quotes. They are inaccurate and unreliable. Use a established local company with an office staffed by full time professionals for a real quote.
I can’t believe you didn’t know that insurance would be very expensive for you. Due to a crazy EU gender equality ruling, you now get charged the same as the boys who drive into trees quite a lot, although to be honest teen girls are bad drivers too. High risk, high premium.
try again when you are 25. Sorry, that’s how it is. Teenagers have priced themselves off the road.

Yep, don’t be an 18 year old female.
Other than that, it doesn’t matter at all what other people get for quotes. If you haven’t noticed, you are NOT them. So what they get, has no relevance to you.
