Can a an auto loan company debit your bank account without your authorization?

I gave authorization for a debit to my checking account. It is for my car loan payment. My checking account didn’t have enough money in it, so the check was returned to my auto loan company. Are they allowed to try again without my authorization?

Yes, they can try again for up to 6 months and will charge you for any fees they incur such as for returned check and legal fees.

Yes, the check you wrote them is the authorization. They have the legal right to submit to the bank one more time for payment. After that they can take you to court.

How can it be without your authorization when you state that you gave authorization?

With the way that most loans seem difficult to get approved recently. The web places are easy to check and often easier to quailify sometimes.

    My friend recently used http://auto.deal4-you.com

yes, if you signed the check, that was authorization for them to present the check for payment. I believe the standards have changed now, and they are allowed to present up to 3 times in 6 months.

usually anyone you tell that they can take from your account they will try it twice (and yes they are allowed to because you gave them permission and told them that money would be there), thereby giving you two large overdraft charges. You should have opened a credit card along with that checking account for overdraft purposes. Now you know that after you pay those three items that you’ve got to open that charge card for overdraft purposes.
