Insurance is based on risk. Ok what does that mean?
Lets take a race car driver that is a winner and/or just a competitor. Simply by his occupation means its high risk.
On the other hand an actor who has a low proflie, if possible, has doubles for risky parts, and doesn’t fly planes, boats, scooters, scuba dive, and jump out of planes might just have a chance at resonable life rate or disability rate for coverage.
Besides the health, profession,.avocations, family history, zip code residence, and age; there are cos. that specialize in this underwriting. To name a few Prudential, New york life, Northwestern Mutual, Metropolitan, John Hancock, and really quite a few others.
There is always Lloyds but they are usually higher as they are the last resort. The formula is basically the same for underwriting life and DI but some cos. are better than others.
Hope this helps. CWW

Yes. And it’s not new. Celebrities are targets for all kinds of lawsuits, real and frivilous. Which both cost the insruance companies more money.

Oh, LOOK AT THIS!!! I broke the rear view mirror off of Tony Romo’s car!!!!
People are always looking for souvenirs….and this is just ONE of the hazards a celebrity could face….not to mention that they become targets from a liability standpoint…..
Hey!!! I just got ran over by Bret Favre!!!
Good luck and I hope this helps!
