I've had Unitrin Direct as my insurance carrier for almost two years now and my insurance premiums have been cheaper per year than before I had my at fault accident in July of 2003. I do not believe that Unitrin Direct writes policies for all 50 states. Their company headquarters are in Chicago or you may visit the website at www.unitrindirect.com. The contact number that you may call to get a free quote and ask customer service questions is 800.437.8394. Another insurance carrier that I believe has cheap rates if you have good credit is Progressive Direct (now known as Drive Insurance by Progressive). The number is 800.888.7764.
