I have about 25 percent to put down on the car i want thats only 8,000. Ive had a credit card for about three years thats paid off now but did make a few late payments. Ive had a steady job for about two and a half years and make about 00 a month should i be able to get financed without a cosigner?

Financed cars is more expensive to insurance cause it requires full coverage. You can compare how much you would pay for full coverage of this car using this tool – carquotes.fateback.com

You will probably need a co-signer. It really all depends on your credit. If you have great credit and that much money for a down payment then you shouldn’t. There are places were you won’t need one, like is place called J.D. Byrider, but the interest rates are crazy high so DON’T DO IT. Good luck.

You have a very good chance of getting an approval through Chase. Now in all honestly the initial interest may be a bit high, but you have to keep in mind your seeking sub-prime lending in a recession. A tip on how to lower interest rates with chase after securing an auto loan with them if you open a checking account with Chase and set up direct deposit with them. After sixty days they will consider modifying your loan. I have dealt with several clients who have gone from 19.9% interest rates to 8.9% without much done on their part.

If you want to find the best car loan deal, you’ll need to think outside of the box a bit. Getting information on the generalities of car loans is the relatively easy bit. There are plenty of glossy brochures with flashy cars on the front and models driving them. Then there are the newspaper and TV ads etc. The problem though is then deciding which is the one for you.

Depends your credit score, your debt to income ratio and the number of late payments and when.
25% is a lot down and they may be able to get you financed at an unfavorable rate.
Don’t do it, its not worth it.
Don’t pay over 12%. But, you may not get financed at that rate either.
21-29% is way too high. Buy a car for cash or keep saving.
