Is the Honda Civic a good first car for a new driver?

by admin on January 25, 2010 · 7 comments

I am a 16 year old driver and I was looking at the 2 door 2010 or 2009 new Honda Civic. Is the car and insurance affordable? Is it a safe car? I’ll take any information about it!

You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

It is a good car, small, easy to drive, reliable, and has a great manual transmission, which I recommend. You can save some serious cash though and get one that is a few years older with a few miles and it will be much cheaper to insure. Good luck!

probably the best ‘first car’

Its a good car but ur 16, if they insurance is gonna be in your name then its gonna be high. 2 door cars are more on insurance then 4 doors are. Plus its more comfortable having a 4 door if ur gonna have your friends riding along. Google it and check out the gas mileage and ratings on it

Very reliable, very good on gas, good safety rating. Car insurance for a Honda Civic is pretty inexpensive, but your rates will depend on your age (more expensive if you’re under 25) and where you live.
