Is there affordable insurance that covers pre-existing pregnancy?

by admin on February 28, 2010 · 4 comments

My friend lost suddenly in a car wreck a couple weeks ago. Days later she found out that she is expecting. Cobra coverage through his insurance company is over 0 monthly. She is having a hard time finding insurance with her pre-existing condition. Does anyone know of an insurance company with reasonable rates that would be willing to cover her?

First of all, she’s can probably get government assistance. Secondly, pregnancy isn’t considered a pre-existing condition anymore.

I was always under the assumption that pregnancy is the only thing that cannot be considered a pre-existing condition. I’ve been told that many times before, even by a nurse.
