If you pay cash for your car, and don’t carry collision or theft on it, it’s REALLY not going to cost much more than your old car. The COSTY part, is the collision and theft for a fast car and a young driver.
The things that keep your rates lower are:
clean driving record
great credit score
lower coverage
having renters insurance with the same company
Do you ever follow those car insurance ads?
I guess go to progressive and they’ll give you some price comparisons.
~~If you have a savings account then raise your deductible. Just always keep it in the bank and it’s drawing interest, then it lowers your premium. The higher the deductible the lower the premium falls.~~
It’s not as hard as it seems to reduce the cost of auto insurance. You may need to invest sometime to shop around for better rates. Normally the age and the experience of the driver play great role in determining the rate of the policy. A good driving record would fetch you better rates.
Also check if you can get discounts from the insurer on the premium.
Insurers would offer discounts on rates if you get both auto and home insurance from them. Also there is multiple car discounts available if you insure more than one car with the same insurer. Moreover, if you are a student you may qualify for the good grade discount as well.
So, check all the options. I’m sure you would find a policy that would suit your budget.
If you can’t afford the insurance, you can’t afford the car. Think again about a 300zx.
autoinsurance.noneto.com – try this one. I personally have their car insurance, cause it is the cheapest for me in our area.
