Car insurance does NOT have to cost a arm and a leg. The reason why people pay more than they should is that they don’t take a few minutes and simply ask more than one insurer about their rates. Getting more than one quote WILL save you money.

At the very least, if you get two quotes, you can either compare and take the cheaper one, or tell the other to match or beat it. Think about it. Not getting multiple quotes is just a bad move, and you’re telling the insurance agents to rip you off. You compare when you go to the store, why not compare when you’re spending hundreds, maybe thousands a year on car insurance?

Another thing: Get ONLINE car insurance quotes. They only take minutes to do, you don’t have to talk to anyone online, and you’ll get better rates because you’re dealing directly with the company, not their insurance agents. You’re practically guaranteed to save, because you won’t be paying that agent fee.

You’ll find more info on car insurance, and some places to get some pretty good online rates here:

do a google search on "cheapest rates for car insurance". I just did this and the General wanted almost 2,000 dollars, . Nationwide quoted me 275 for me and my wife! Who do you think I chose? Wasn,t the general! I,m not affilliated in any with Nationwide, but I had to buy their policy.
You want to speak to Mark Wilson. You can tell I told you to call if you want. I,m Dennis Williams.Their number is 513
-942-9800.Fax is 513-942-6378. Best deal I found on the internet. Good Luck and choose for yourself.

If i were you i would just sit down monday morning with a list of every insurance company in your area and give them all a call. Have all your info ready with you. Thats the best way to do it. I might be able to get cheap insurance through Nationwide for instance-but that doesnt mean you would be able to. Just call around and do the research-you really need to talk to agents one on one to get an accurate price-the internet just cant give you that yet.
And remember, cheapest isnt always the best. You might be able to save some money by going with Joes Pizzeria and Car Insurance-but do you really think he would be willing to pay off when you have a claim?

Why make it hard on yourself? Open your yellow pages and look for a local agent. They work with a lot of different companies. You give them your information once and they find the best rate for you!

State Farm should be able to write you for about 40 dollars a month or less.
