You won't be able to get anything from a bank at this time, why would they loan you money when you stopped paying off their credit cards? Your best bet is to go to a broker who deals with this sort of problem for a living. What a broker will do is submit your application to multiple lenders who will then compete for your business. You just pick the best deal for you. Bear in mind that their interest will be higher than banks as the money will come from private lenders who are capitalizing on the economic crisis.
