Most failing businesses are the very ones that have been under the thumb of Government for many decades.
I believe a case could be made that illustrates we would have a better economy if the Government just stayed out of the management of businesses.
The Post Office is a prime example.
UPS has been around for over 6 decades and is very successful, even though they provide good educational opportunities for their employees and are a union shop. They are profitable and pay taxes.
The Post Office on the other hand is run by the Government and is subsidized by you tax dollars. Yet it is failing constantly and gives lower quality service.
The Government can’t run anything well.
