I am buying a car, though I probably won’t use it to commute everyday, only for long trips out of the city. I noticed that insurance companies on their quotes ask what the car will be used for. I’m not even sure myself how the car will be used on average, what answer gets the [...]

I read a story that says that insurance companies are trying to base their rates for car insurance on your credit rating, age, and gender etc. Is that right/do you agree or disagree with the practice,
what do you think the right way is to determine insurance rates etc?

Typically, to justify these elevated rates, the insurance companies will cite that an overall greater percentage of red cars are involved in accidents relative to cars of other colors. Therefore, a considerable number of [...]

I wanted to know if anyone knew of any good insurance companies with low rates. I’m kinda sick of the one I have now Geico. Service is not great, guess they spend too much money on commercials and none on customer service. Any info would be great! Thanks.
