Vehicle insurance do you have to pay the last two months of your policy?

Ok my insurance company requires two months deductible before they start my policy. If i leave the insurance company do they use my two month deposit too pay the last two months??????

If you cancel your policy before it is "up", that money goes to pay the short rate penalty and cancellation fee, if applicable; or if you just stop paying for it, it pays the cancellation fee, and for insurance, for the time it takes to give your legal notice of cancellation in your state.
If you keep the insurance, you won’t get a bill the last month.
