what car insurance company is best to have?

i am getting my very first car soon.first time male driver,age 22.what companys are recomended??any advice??

It really depends on where you live. When I lived in California I had AAA and they were the best in terms of rates and customer service. Most of my friends and colleagues here in Michigan have either AAA or State Farm. I have USAA, but you can only get USAA if you are in the military or have a parent who is (or was) in the military.

there are so many variables to insurance no one can answer that "correctly". my advise is to call a local independent agent. they write for many companies and can find the best one for you with the best rates. Make sure you write the policy with an "A" rated company. remember, most people tend to go towards big names like Allstate, State Farm , etc… but some of the best companies are ones you may never have heard of before and they can usually beat the premiums of bigger companies
