Olga * January 11, 2010 at 9:41 am: The term more or less is a gimmick used in insurance advertisement to make you call them for rates. Affordable in this case often means minimum State required. Most of the time you can’t "afford" to have such insurance if something does happen. Let’s say, in California minimum liability is $15,000 per person which will pay for the ambulance to get to the scene and after that you are on your own. If you have no money than get a policy that you can pay for and drive legally. And it also depends on if you have medical insurance or not. Probably it would be best if you contact a local insurance agent to get familiar with options and benefits in respect to your situation.
