Mail doesn’t drive, the postman carries it in his pouch.

well it depends on the type of car you have. Like for sports cars, the insurance rate goes up.

I didn’t know 18 year old mail could drive. If you mean an 18 year old male, I suggest you check the Progressive Insurance website. They can give you a comparison. But, you should expect to shop around because no insurance company likes to disclose their rates up front and they make it very difficult to find out what their rates are on average. It depends on your age, sex, your car, your location, the distance you drive regularly, and your personal driving record.

I’m not going to go after the "MAIL" vs. "MALE" issue. It’s been covered enough by others.
There are way too many variables to give an answer. Different companies give different rates. The type of car you have is a factor. The deductible is a factor. Past driving record (tickets and/or accidents) are a factor. Grades in school can be a factor.
Just go online to the various insurance companies and do a quote. Most have teh tools online to do it yourself. If they don’t, just contact a local agent and they can give you a quote.
