Some of the top auto insurers include State Farm, Allstate, Progressive and GEICO.
Here are some tips to save on your auto insurance:
Ask about good drivers discounts, good student discounts, anti-theft device discounts, multiple vehicles discounts, try a higher deductible, annual premium payments, lower physical damage coverage limits on older vehicles, and get your home and auto insurance with the same insurer – this could save you up to 15% more.
To compare auto insurance rate quotes I recommend InsureMe – They give you the five best auto insurance quotes from top-rated auto insurers nationwide. To request a free, no obligation quote, Go to http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=613596&Type=auto
I hope that helps! Take care and best of luck with your auto insurance!

Allstate, I know it may not be the cheapest but they have many programs such as accident forgiveness that if you were to get into an accident your rates wont go up, and when you do get into an accident they will definetly take care of you (when you are not at fault of course)

ive had good luck with state farm.. but alot of people dont like it, perhaps search the web and see what companies offer what and what kind of prices, my suggestion is dont go with the absolute cheapest, in this case cheapest is not the right answer. it really depends on where you are, in Texas(where i have insurance) you need alot of uninsured auto insurance because of the illegal immigrants.. but if ur not in a place where this is a problem then you dont.. sorry i have no better answer then to shop around via the web or go to agencies and ask, just because u walk in doesnt mean you must use them…
