At what age do car insurance rates drop? Currently I am a 20 year old male living in Kansas. Also what else will cause insurance to go down. If you get married, have kids, etc….?
Thanks.
Nah Grizzbr1, thats not the case…haha.
Will it go down when I turn 21?

You generally see a drop in rates at the age of 25. If you are married, have multiple cars on a policy, hold more than one policy with the same company is when you receive additional decreases. Other factors, such as where the vehicle is garaged, your credit, whether you’ve had any tickets/accidents, how long you’ve been with the company…all these things are figured when calculating your overall risk.
If you are planning on having kids so your insurance rates will go down you are the biggest fool I’ve come across on this website so far
LMFAO
My car insurance went down when i turned 24 and it also went down when i bought a house and when i got married. It went down also when it reaches a year dating 10 years or older. If your car is older than an 85 it will drop ALOT!, because it is considered an antique.
I have an 1980 Chevy C/K pickup and i pay only $18.00 a month.
