I accidentally drowned my computer and the insurance company needs a repairs quote so that I can get a new one/get it repaired. Thing is everyone wants to charge you to have it done… any ideas for in Brighton?

just go to MAC and ask them to quote for insurance replacement, it they see that you may have to buy a new one they will offer the service for free..
I did the same thing and i went to the Apple Store and i told them the truth about what happened and they did it for free even though it was out of warranty but i was told i am extremely lucky that they did it for free.
The two answers above are good. They will be honest with you and probably do it for free hoping that you will come to them once you get your insurance settlement.
