Where can I get car insurance quotes online?

I’d prefer to not call all the companies. Is there a way I can find local car insurance companies easily?

http://www.AutoInsureUSA.info is a great resource. It is a simple Zip Code Submit Form. Once you submit your Zip Code, you will be presented with a list of Car Insurance companies available in your area
prplpngn December 21, 2009 at 4:50 am: The trouble with SOME, not all, online companies is that you sometimes end up paying HUGE premiums for literally no coverage. I would suggest that you find a local independent insurance agent and visit with them. An independent agent will, in most cases, represent more than one auto insurance carrier and can quote and place you with the best premium and best coverage.

While you can do Travelers, Progressive, etc online, independent agents all over the country represent them and others….this way in the event of a claim or question, you have an agent to call locally and not have to call the company each time.
