Will a sports car make my insurance more expenisive?

by admin on February 14, 2010 · 6 comments

Im 18 years old and my parents just bought me a sports car. No, I’m not spoiled. They got it for me because its miles were under 100k, it was only 2000 dollars, and it wasn’t as beat up as many other cars we saw. Will my insurance be really high? I mean I honestly just needed an affordable car that will get me to college and back. That was the best we could find for the money we had. And I’m not those teens that drive 100 mph for no reason. I just want to get to school and back.

it depends if its under your name or your parents. if it is under your name then it might be more than if it was under your parents.

You can compare how the insurance quotes would change, for example here – autoinsurance.hotusa.org
